The world of wind power is growing at a phenomenal pace. Projections put the average growth of the industry at over 25% for the next five years. Position The Service Engineer position reports to the Service Manager Europe. Main responsabilities: Inspection, Identification and classification of defects and carrying out repairs thereof. Maintenance, repair and retrofit of composite products using prescribed procedures, methods, materials and equipment. Carry out jobs in accordance with the Quality, Health and Safety standards in the working areas. Adherence to maintenance, repair and service schedules and customer requirements. Documentation and MIS relative to service, manitenance & repairs etc. Maintenance of administrative systems for equipment and materials. Coordination with the site managers, service desk, and service engineering. Profile: Relevant exposure and experience in Hydraulics, Composites and Mechanical. Demonstrated experience in a service environment involving composite or mechanical engineering and in performing inspections and repairs Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and presentation. Ability to understand technical specifications, engineering drawings. Ability to use and familiarity with standard office applications (Microsoft office, Excel, Power Point etc.) Background: Diploma Mechanical Engineering / BSc, MSc. Physics/Chemistry Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant experience Ability to train and develop people Natural tendency to investigate and question Result orientation
