Building upon solid IT project experience relative to their level, these consultants will work with Microsoft`s partners to assist customers in: • The delivery of high quality engagements around Microsoft`s solution areas, technologies and products into diverse client environments leveraging available IP and following defined delivery methodologies and service offerings. • The capture of requirements. • The design and development of an integrated solution using the latest Microsoft products and technologies. • Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the designed/developed solution. The Consultant role is mainly about delivering solutions to customers and allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. Consultants use their broad and deep knowledge of technology and IT operations to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to reusable services focused on operational effectiveness and business value. To accomplish operational effectiveness, a consultant will manage the complete lifecycle of large and complex projects. As members of the virtual account team, a consultant helps customer account teams identify, pursue, and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving add-on business within existing projects. They help translate business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work (SOW) and assist in contract negotiations. Consultants play a key role in employing and developing partners as part of the overall Microsoft services delivery model. Consultants maintain product group relationships and may act as subject matter experts assisting service line management in the definition and development of service and/or solution offerings. Consultants should have an impact at the subsidiary regional level, as well as be able to assist/mentor others. Consultants should be able to lead technical design within a project. |

| Requisitos mínimos: | • 5-10 years of related experience. • BS/BA or MBA or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Building Customer/Partner Relationships, Confidence, Cross-Boundary Collaboration, Impact and Influence, Interpersonal Awareness, Project Management, Strategic Insight, Technology Expertise, Value Selling. Training and certification including work experience should involve technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment. Must have a proven record of delivering technical solutions around Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Offering. Project leadership skills or related experience required. |
| Requisitos deseados: | Candidates must have industry leading depth knowledge of subject area, and have demonstrated analysis and communication skills connecting technology and business problems. • Expert database practitioner on SQL Server • SQL Server 2008 Infrastructure - e.g. replication, clustering, SAN design, consolidation etc. SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Tools –e.g. Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS). • Knowledge of competitive product offerings. • Demonstration of more than simple product knowledge - must know how to architect and build an application, both OLTP and Data Warehousing. • Ability to construe a customer’s “plan” very quickly. |
