| Descripción de la oferta: | POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the implementation of strategic sales initiatives by driving consumer direct and B2B sales that complement company and cafe goals. This individual will act as the key regional liaison for Hard Rock Cafe toward vendors, tour and travel operators, corporate, media, and association industry partners. He/She must work closely with the Support Center marketing and sales teams in understanding overall company strategic plan while being involved in the development of local business plans and relationships. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.- Implementation of global, regional, and local sales programs 2.- Maintain appropriate documentation and reporting for all budgeted expenses 3.-Create summary reports for AVP, DO, and Sr. Director of Sales reviewing sales efforts, results and action plans 4.- Evaluation of market, partnership opportunities, and overall market integration within the entertainment sector 5.- Develop and share a virtual “toolbox” of successful ideas to grow top line sales and promotions for the cafe 6.- Comprehend and execute the sales process of prospecting, soliciting, and closing of business transactions 7.- Attend regional/cafe meetings to communicate initiatives, events, functions, etc. 8.- Attend local/regional tradeshows to secure business opportunities with tour operators, event planners, association conference planners, incentive companies, and leisure partners, tourist and convention and visitors bureau (SMERF/MICE) 9.- Offer banquet and event planning expertise to assist cafe with event execution and function logistics 10.- Negotiates and contracts multiple venue agreements according to corporate procedures 11.- Communicate with Cafe General Managers/Operations team in reviewing events standards and guest survey results, identifying methods for increased efficiencies and communication of promotional activity. 12.- Utilize Yield Management software (Delphi) daily as a means to address opportunities, productivity, and execution. 13.- Participate in the annual budget and sales & marketing plan 14.- Attend functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction, and convert future repeat business 15.- Survey guest feedback to gain an understanding of areas of strength and opportunity to improve performance 16.- Recruit potential employees from within the marketplace as a means to provide the guest with “kick ass” service and build bench-strength 17.- Superior communication and interpersonal skills 18.- Operate with integrity and uphold the highest professional standards CORE COMPETENCIES 1.- Understanding the Business – Business Acumen; Functional/Technical Skills; Customer Focus 2.- Getting Organized – Time Management; Priority Setting 3.- Creating New and Different – Dealing with Ambiguity; Innovation Management; Strategic Agility 4.- Getting Work Done thru Others – Delegation; Developing Direct Reports; Confronting Direct Reports 5.- Energy and Drive – Drive for Results; Action Oriented 6.- Inspiring Others – Managing Vision and Purpose; Motivating Others; Building Effective Teams; Negotiating 7.- Relating Skills – Interpersonal Savvy 8.- Communicating Effectively – Written Communication; Presentation Skills 9.- Act with Honor and Character – Integrity & Trust; Ethics & Values 10.- Being Open and Receptive – Listening; Composure; Approachability |

| Requisitos mínimos: | B.A. or B.S. in hospitality related major Minimum of 4years of hospitality marketing or sales/event planning experience Proven sales initiatives Sales industry relationships and networks (media, corporate, music, group, tour, association) Professional experience with CRM or Yield Management software (Delphi) Insight to anticipate challenges and the sophistication to resolve them Strong Microsoft software competencies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to anticipate problems and the sophistication to resolve them Ability to travel Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Multiple language abilities a plus fluency in English & Spanish required |
