| Descripción de la oferta: | Tek Translation is undergoing the fastest growth in our near 50-year history. That growth is driven in part by our launch of the industry’s first on-demand globalization solution, the new standard worldwide businesses will use to streamline the globalization process. The Business Unit Manager will be an individual driven by the desire to improve the localization process, challenge accepted norms of localization production and contribute to creating a new standard of service, delivery and technology within the industry. You will lead, coach and challenge your team to contribute their very best to Tek’s aims and aspirations. Responsibilities will include: • Managing a talented project management group handling a wide portfolio of clients from key Tek verticals. • Planning, implementing, and supervising client-specific services. • Monitoring unit P&L to maintain profitability. • Communicating effectively and consistently with clients on project status and needs. • Monitor and communicate project accounting information to facilitate financial decision-making. • Effectively communicate Tek’s services and value to clients. |
Requisitos

| Experiencia mínima: | De 3 a 5 años |
| Requisitos mínimos: | The ideal candidate will possess: • A minimum of five years of senior-level project and people management experience, ideally within a localization organization. • Experience managing all phases of localization projects, including translation, QA, DTP, software/help compilation and testing. • Excellent communication skills in English required; fluency in key European languages a plus. • Proven experience working with clients to understand and meet requirements. • Process-oriented management skills, including formalized PMI or Scrum methodologies. • University degree in translation, linguistics, computer science or related field. |
